Holmdel Police Honor Guard

 

The Holmdel Police Department Honor Guard was officially formed in 1987.  The Honor Guard is currently led by Corporal Walter Weber, and is comprised of six Holmdel Police Officers, and supplemented by additional select Department members as needed.  The Honor Guard members are trained, and experienced in close order drill, and color guard drill, as well as funeral and ceremonial protocol.  Members attend a practice drill and inspection prior to all details.

 

The Honor Guard Unit’s distinct uniforms are a reflection of the original department uniform.

 

Annually, the Honor Guard represents the Holmdel Police Department at the New Jersey Police Memorial Service in Ocean Grove, Holmdel Memorial Day Service, PBA Ball, Belmar St. Patrick’s Day Parade, area police officer funeral services, and numerous other parades and events in New Jersey.
